Formulation

FODZYME® is formulated as a powder to ensure maximum contact between its digestive enzymes and FODMAP-containing foods, allowing for more effective breakdown of FODMAPs during digestion. Unlike capsules, the powder mixes directly with food, optimizing enzyme performance and supporting better digestive relief.

Our formulation consists of clinically and scientifically studied microbial enzymes characterized at both academic institutions, and research partners.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: enzyme blend (32mg per g)

Our fructan hydrolase is the first ever enzyme to target fructans like inulin, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), and levan.

Our alpha-galactosidase enzyme can effectively break down the galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) or galactans (“O” in FODMAPs).

Our lactase enzyme (also called β-D-galactosidase) can break down lactose (the “D” in FODMAPs).

What does FODZYME® taste like?

FODZYME is virtually tasteless and does not change the texture of food. Some people with sensitive taste buds note a slight sweetness. That's the sweet taste of being able to eat your favorite foods again!

Will FODZYME® work for me?

FODZYME® is meant for adult humans ages 18+. FODZYME does not target specific conditions — rather, FODZYME's enzymes break down triggering substances (fermentable fibers) that are known to ferment by gut bacteria. Specifically, FODZYME's enzymes break down the fibers fructan, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), and lactose. So, if you know that you are sensitive to foods that contain them, then we recommend you give FODZYME a shot once your doctor approves you adding a new supplement to your gut-health regimen.

What foods does FODZYME® help with?

While the current version of FODZYME may not address polyol-containing foods, using powder the right way will help you digest fructan, GOS and lactose like a charm.

What does my monthly FODZYME® subscription include?

Your subscription can either include the Home Kit (60 Dose Jar) or the On-the-Go kit (30 Stick packs). You can also choose to subscribe and order both. Edit, skip, or cancel your order at any time. Why is FODZYME® a powder when most enzyme products are in a capsule/caplet?

Enzymes need to mix well with the food to get to its substrates (e.g. fructan) within the food. Swallowing an enzyme supplement like a pill/capsule does not allow the enzyme to sufficiently work into the food! It is crucial to maximize food-enzyme-homogenization, and this is what our powder form achieves.

Can I return FODZYME?

We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund. This only applies to the first item of your first order. We will refund you for the full cost of the product minus shipping, VAT, or duties—no questions asked.
